Job Description
This is a testing role however the candidate needs to have strong fundamentals of Programming Logic and SQL.
- Strong Fundamentals of Application Development in terms of Logic.
- Ability to visualize and write Pseudo Logic and Pseudo Code
- Good understanding of SQL Basics
- An understanding of Front End Testing, Unit Testing, Code Coverage, Instrumentation
Automation:
Needs to have a strong understanding of different types of testing and how to Automate the same in a CI/CD pipeline. Selected candidates will be expected to have a basic understanding of setting up these testing tools and integrate them in an existing CI / CD Pipeline.
- Ability so Setup different test tools for Frontend testing / Backend Node & Python testing
- Ability to setup instrumentation needed for code coverage
- Ability to Setup Code coverage using SonarQube
- Ability to integrate & Setup different testing tools int a CI / CD Pipeline
Core QA Experience:
- Very Strong on Cypress (or Selenium). Preference is Cypress
- Needs to be self drive and have the ability to write Cypress test Cases
- API testing tools - Proficiency in JMeter and Postman
- Experience in setting and performing Performance testing for APIs
Knowledge of Tools:
Experience with the following Tools
- Cypress (or Selenium). Preference is Cypress
- JMeter
- Postman
- Tools for Backend testing of a Node CodeBase
- Tools for Backend Testing of a Python CodeBase
- Understanding of Jenkins for CI / CD Integration
