Job Description

Drawing Coordination: Work closely with the design and engineering teams to coordinate, review, and execute drawings. Ensure that all design aspects are accurately captured in technical drawings and documentation.

Collaboration with Interior Designers: Partner with interior designers to ensure that the design vision is translated into practical and efficient execution. Address any design modifications or revisions as needed during the project.

Material Selection and Procurement: Responsible for selecting and sourcing materials based on design specifications, functionality, and budget. Ensure that materials meet both aesthetic and performance standards for each project.

Design Development: Assist in the development of detailed design plans, including layouts, elevations, and specifications. Ensure consistency in design elements and compliance with project requirements.

Project Coordination: Act as a liaison between design, construction, and project management teams to ensure smooth communication and timely project delivery.

Documentation Management: Maintain and organize all design-related documents, including drawings, material lists, and approvals. Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.

Site Visits: Participate in site visits to inspect ongoing projects and ensure that design and material specifications are being adhered to during construction.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) with a focus on construction management (preferably from NICMAR).

1 to 3 years of relevant experience in design coordination, particularly in the real estate or construction sector.

Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction processes, and materials.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other relevant design software.

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including interior designers, architects, engineers, and project managers.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction techniques relevant to residential and commercial real estate projects.

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and manage design modifications efficiently.
