Cathodic Protection System Engineer

1.  Must be able to prepare CP equipment and bulk materials specifications and prepare material requisitions and perform technical evaluations and non-material requirements of bidders responses. 
2.  Responsible for AC / DC interference studies and mitigation, specialised CP surveys, CP assessments etc
3. Participate in site surveys and plant visits (if required) to determine constraints in the existing CP systems or other existing facilities on sites that may influence the overall design concept and be able to recommend the most economical solutions. 
4.  Must be able to prepare CP equipment and bulk materials specifications and prepare material requisitions and perform technical evaluations and non-material requirements of bidders’ responses. 
5.  Must be able to calculate the sacrificial anode quantities / location / material (Al /Zn / Mg) for the design life of the structure.
6. Must be able to calculate the the impressed current system size regarding the DC source and it’s associated anode ground bed 

Preferred candidate profile

Understanding of plating coating also marine related ,Positive thinker,ideally optimistic ,good engineering skills in chosen field excellent communication skills,adaptable,having eye for details and ability to complete the assigned task within the deadline.
