FREIGHT FORWARDING SALES JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients for freight forwarding services. Develop and implement strategies to secure new business and expand existing client relationships.
• Sales and Business Development: Achieve sales targets and contribute to the companys growth. Present and promote our freight forwarding solutions to clients, both in-person and remotely.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Provide insights and recommendations to improve service offerings and sales strategies.
• Proposal and Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals. Ensure that all contractual agreements are met and documented accurately.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Coordinate with internal departments to address client needs and resolve any service-related issues.
• Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, client interactions, and market developments. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications.

Qualifications

• Language Skills: Fluency in Hindi (mandatory) and English, both written and verbal. Effective communication with clients and internal teams is essential.
• Education: An MBA in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with freight forwarding software, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.
