Job Description
- Manage Workday integration tickets by investigating issues/requests and providing resolutions within defined SLAs. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) when necessary.
- Support and maintain Workday Extend applications, as well as manage Workday outbound and inbound integrations with downstream applications such as payroll, time tracking, ERP, job boards, external learning platforms, travel and expense systems, and more.
- Monitor integration performance and recommend areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for new developments and integration enhancements.
- Perform recurring BAU activities (such as maintaining period schedules) to ensure uninterrupted integration operations.
- Liaise with external providers (e.g., payroll) to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Participate in Workdays biannual release reviews and testing, identifying impacts and opportunities for improvement associated with new releases.
Role Specific Competencies:
- BE (or equivalent) or MCA.
- Over 4 years of experience in a Workday production support environment, preferably supporting integrations between HR, Payroll, and Benefits Partners.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio Development, EIB, RaaS, and Web Services.
- Experience with Workday Extend applications.
- Strong understanding of SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, and Java.
- Solid grasp of integration security principles.
- BIRT experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with integration design and testing concepts, as well as integration frameworks (e.g., middleware, transformation logic).
- Prior experience in reporting (composite reports) and Prism is a significant advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
