Job Description: IT Manager Corporate (Hotels)


The IT Manager – Corporate is responsible for overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure, systems, and security across multiple hotel properties. This role ensures the seamless operation of technology solutions that support guest services, hotel management systems, and corporate operations. The IT Manager collaborates with hotel teams, vendors, and corporate leadership to enhance IT efficiency, security, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure & Systems Management:

  • Oversee the IT infrastructure across all corporate and hotel properties, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Manage hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and booking engines.
  • Implement, monitor, and upgrade hotel Wi-Fi networks to ensure high-speed internet for guests and staff.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud-based and on-premise enterprise systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration between various hotel technology platforms, including CRM, ERP, and HR systems.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection:

  • Implement cybersecurity measures to protect hotel data, including guest information and payment details.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS) and industry security standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and data backup strategies.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies and best practices across all hotel locations.

IT Strategy & Digital Transformation:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with corporate goals and business needs.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI, and cloud migration.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Optimize IT budgets, forecast expenses, and ensure cost-effective technology solutions.

Hotel Operations & Guest Experience Enhancement:

  • Work closely with hotel operations teams to improve technology-driven guest experiences.
  • Support smart room automation, mobile check-ins, keyless entry, and other hospitality tech solutions.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity and digital services for corporate clients and hotel guests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting daily hotel operations.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with IT service providers, hardware vendors, and software partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee IT procurement for all hotel properties.
  • Collaborate with hotel General Managers and department heads to identify technology needs.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:

  • Develop and maintain IT disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure regular system backups and data recovery solutions.
  • Implement redundancy measures for critical hotel systems, including PMS and booking platforms.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel technology systems, including PMS (IDS), POS, and Channel Managers.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL.
  • Expertise in network infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of hospitality technology trends, guest expectations, and digital innovations.
