Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with a strong background in proposal development. This role is designed for an individual who not only excels at managing IT projects from initiation to closure but also has the expertise to drive new business opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and contribute to the growth of our organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery while identifying new business avenues.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead, plan, and manage IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, to deployment.
• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (development, operations, QA, etc.) to ensure successful execution of projects.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure proper resource allocation and optimization for project tasks.
• Manage project risks, identify potential problems, and develop contingency plans.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.

Proposal Development:

• Lead the preparation of project proposals, working with sales and technical teams to develop tailored, high-quality proposals.
• Write and edit proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs, technical requirements, and business goals.
• Develop cost estimates, timelines, and resource requirements for proposals.
• Maintain a deep understanding of client requirements and industry standards to enhance proposal quality.
• Assist in the presentation of proposals to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns.

Stakeholder & Client Management:

• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates to clients on project status, risks, and achievements.
• Manage client expectations and foster long-term relationships to ensure repeat business opportunities.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment between the business and technical teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum of 10-12 years in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in business development and proposal writing, preferably in the IT sector.
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure management.
• Skills:
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana).
• Strong business acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Ability to develop and manage client relationships effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially in contract discussions.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle demanding clients.
