We are seeking a motivated Senior Backend Engineer to join our product team. You will play a critical role in designing and building backend services for our new product offerings. If you're passionate about scalable systems, API development, and cloud technologies, we'd love to hear from you.

Primary Skills:
• Programming: Java
• Databases: PostgreSQL

Experience:
• Total Experience: 10+ years
• Relevant Backend Experience: 6-8 years

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs and system architectures.
• Define API specifications (e.g., Swagger) and integration patterns with third-party tools.
• Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) for evaluating new technologies.
• Own end-to-end technology delivery, ensuring high-quality, well-tested code.
• Contribute to infrastructure management, containerization, and deployment security.
• Work with logging and monitoring tools like Elastic Stack and Grafana.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

Qualifications:
• Proficiency in backend development with Java.
• Strong experience with system architecture and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on expertise with API design, authentication (OAuth), streaming, payments, and CMS integrations.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an agile development environment.
