Job Description
Looking for a dynamic Buyer/Planner on 12 months contract with learning agility.
Education
Diploma - Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Production with 2-3 years of experience OR a degree holder with 2-3 years of Experience. Preferably worked in Pump/Engineering/Automobile Industries.
Skill Sets
Working knowledge on ERP like SAP, Baan etc. on Material management, Production scheduling
Working knowledge on Inventory management
Any experience in sourcing/vendor development, cost estimation would be an added advantage
Knowledge in ISO 9001-2008 / 2015,14001
Good user of MS office skills like Excel, Word, Power point etc.
Responsibilities
- Releasing purchase orders to suppliers (listed) as per requirement/demand generated in ERP on daily basis
- Follow-up and arrange receipt of materials from supplier as per PO due/requirements of customer order due date.
- Releasing shop floor orders in-time to meet customer OTD 100%
- Communicate any changes in customer deliveries to sales/customer support & operations team
- Maintain clean data of items, suppliers, supplier rating, purchase orders & Projects while execution
Accountabilities
- Maintain Ontime delivery of supplier items > 95%
- Maintain ordering levels of items to be within Inventory policy & Inventory turns
- Maintain Purchase price variance within given targets
- Maintain Freight expenses within given targets
- Maintain & Provide Dashboard updates on daily basis to required members
