Job Description
- Preparation and review of tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, S and C-corporations
- Conduct online tax research
- Identify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs and goals
- Assist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements
- Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives , and budgets
- Build on mentorship capabilities by guiding key talent through constructive criticism and growth opportunities
- Lead and supervise staff by actively managing a pipeline of projects and resources
- Maintain great relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to provide a tailored service
Requirements
- Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Accounting , Tax, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in supervising the work of others, including delegation, training and development of staff and interns
- Certified Public Accountant (US) or qualified Chartered Accountant
- Expert Knowledge on Axcess Tax, XCM, TaxCaddy , SurePrep , and Caseware preferred
- Experience with a wide variety of entity types
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Tech savvy adaptable to changing work expectations
