Ecommerce Content Specialist

Role Responsibilities:
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to build manage content for high traffic websites
- A flair for writing with an understanding of what works on the internet.
- An effective writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer friendly.
- Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences.
- An understanding of keywords and meta tags - Ability to write web page titles, meta tag descriptions, alt tags for images etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field will be preferred
Skills Required:
- Content Creation Management:
- Write clear, compelling, and SEO-optimized product descriptions, category pages, and other online content.
- Develop and manage content for new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
- Work closely with the design team to create engaging product images, banners, and infographics.
- Upload and maintain product listings on various ecommerce platforms, ensuring accuracy in product details, pricing, and availability.
- Update and optimize content based on performance data, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and is consistent in tone and style.
- Implement and monitor SEO best practices to improve product rankings and drive organic traffic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, product, and customer service, to align content strategies with business goals.
- Customer Experience:
- Regularly review customer reviews and feedback to identify areas for content improvement.
- Ensure product content addresses customer pain points and highlights key benefits to enhance the shopping experience.
- Assist in creating content for customer support, such as FAQs, how-to guides, and product manuals.
