Job Description

Fabrication and Assembly: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to fabricate and assemble components or structures.

Welding and Cutting: Perform welding using arc welding to join metal parts. Operate cutting equipment such as plasma cutters, and grinders.

Fitting: Measure, cut, shape, and align metal components with precision. Use various hand tools and power tools to ensure accurate fitment.

Inspection: Inspect welded joints for strength, accuracy, and quality using tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Conduct regular quality checks and make necessary adjustments.

Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance and repairs on machines, structures, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment (PPE) while working. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff.

Documentation: Keep records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered. Ensure compliance with project documentation standards.

Other Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed, including troubleshooting mechanical issues, equipment assembly, and installations.
