Role Overview

As an Area Sales Manager HOM, you will be responsible for developing and managing the Agency Channel across multiple Lines of Business (GWP, Health, IPA, CL) while maintaining business hygiene and sustaining high-growth performance. This role requires a strong focus on recruitment, activation, engagement, and driving business performance in high-potential markets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Development

• Achieve business targets for the assigned region by expanding the agency network.
• Drive new benchmarks in all Agency LOBs (General Insurance, Health, IPA, CL) while ensuring compliance and profitability (COR).
• Identify new business opportunities through networking and market analysis.

Agency Channel Development

• Strengthen and expand the Agency Channel to drive consistent business growth.
• Recruit, activate, and engage agents through campaigns, training, and incentives.
• Motivate agents with monthly meets, awards, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance their performance.

Client & Agent Engagement

• Ensure high service levels to retain and grow existing business.
• Conduct training programs, feedback sessions, and market engagement activities to empower agents and improve productivity.

Performance & Compliance

• Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement to enhance business performance.
• Ensure a hygienic business practice by maintaining compliance standards across all activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

> Experience: Minimum 3-5+ years in sales, preferably in General Insurance or Financial Services.
> Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in Agency Channel and understanding of different LOBs (Health, IPA, CL) is an advantage.
> Sales & Leadership Skills: Strong business development, recruitment, and team management abilities.
> Communication: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi (local) language preferred.
> Mobility: Willingness to travel within assigned locations to drive business growth.
