Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our team in the manufacturing plumbing industry. The BDO will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, establishing strong client relationships, and driving sales and market expansion. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing products, market trends, and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research and Analysis:
   
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitive dynamics in the plumbing industry.
• Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
2. Client Acquisition and Retention:
   
• Identify and engage with prospective clients, contractors, distributors, and architects in the plumbing and construction sectors.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Sales and Revenue Growth:
   
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
4. Product Promotion and Awareness:
   
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote plumbing products through campaigns, exhibitions, and events.
• Stay updated on product features and specifications to provide technical guidance to clients.
5. Strategic Partnerships:
   
• Build partnerships with industry stakeholders, suppliers, and distribution networks to enhance the company’s reach.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
   
• Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, market analysis, and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales processes in CRM systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the plumbing or manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of plumbing products and their applications in various projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel as required.
