Job Description

Supports the sales force through reporting, system administration, and internal & external data analyses by executing, supporting, and improving selected activities under limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting :
    • Consolidates and distributes repetitive sales reports.
    • Creates ad-hoc sales reports under limited supervision.
    • Revises templates, consolidates data from others, and provides forecasting input under limited supervision.
  • System Administration :
    • Runs complicated tasks and documents ad-hoc tasks on systems and tools (e. g. , Salesforce, WWSPS, BMS, Portal) under limited supervision.
    • Periodically evaluates user-entered data on systems to ensure completeness and identifies improvements.
  • Data Analyses (External & Internal) :
    • Analyzes external sources (e. g. , Polk, Dodge, Rig Dig) to identify sales opportunities and forwards them to the sales team.
    • Reviews findings from research on assigned opportunities and shares with relevant teams.
    • Compiles and qualifies competitive data and communicates it to the sales force as relevant.
    • Conducts internal sales analyses (e. g. , variances, projections, costing, bundling) for ad-hoc and repetitive tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate/PG with a finance/commercial background.
  • Analytical approach.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel.
Experience:
  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Primary Sales : Engaging in direct sales activities.
  • Secondary Sales : Managing sales through retail, fleet, and mechanics channels.

  • Communicates Effectively : Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Project Schedule Management : Managing the planned schedule using recommended tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline.
  • Adapts to Target Audience : Explaining complex topics in a way that the target audience can understand, retain, and use the information.
  • Integrates Customer Perspective : Incorporating an understanding of the customers perspective on products and sales efforts to develop sales content that meets their needs and increases revenue.
  • Values Differences : Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.
