KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:
- Supervise overall planning, strategizing & execution of PR strategies across traditional, digital and relevant influencers for accounts along with the reporting team as per targets & available platforms
- Experience in planning and organizing promotional events such as press conferences, brand launch events, influencer campaigns, etc
- Great understanding of the media across the ecosystem including relationships with key senior voices in the media.
- Ability to strategize and implement press release and media outreach campaigns
- Ability to cultivate key new relationships with media and influencers on behalf of the agency
- Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face
- Regularly monitor and intervene in the performance of client accounts basis observations and data obtained to ensure optimum results and quality
- Check for accuracy, timeliness, and quality of content delivered by managers including monthly reports and documentation
TEAM MANAGEMENT:
- Lead & manager a team of consultants to drive performance & account management
- Define important KPIs for accounts and teams
- Encourage collaboration across teams to ensure consistency in results and efforts
- Monitor teams progress & hold regular reviews with the team members on performance feedback
- Maintain brand team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Work with the founding team for operational requirements, suggest and implement new features and processes to improve team efficiency
- Train the team with current technologies and trends in PR, digital media, and application
Required experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a PR Manager or similar role with experience in leading a team
- Degree in PR / Journalism or relevant field preferred
- Demonstrated experience with healthcare, pharms, steel, energy, hr, education, lifestyle and corporate clients
- Excellent knowledge of PR best practices and latest trends and platforms
- Should know how to engage team, leverage monitoring tools for insights and align their work with agency and client's goals
- Ability to design 360 campaigns including experience with organic and paid media strategy and execution
- Experience with business development and crisis management is a bonus
- Proven ability to manage schedules, meet tight deadlines and offer consistently high-quality events and PR
- Established relationships with key media and influencers
