Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing all architectural project(s), including Design, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding, and Construction Administration.
• Included are coordination and responsibility for communicating with other disciplines and the client.
• Designs projects and/or reviews architectural or engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with government codes, laws, and regulations are correct, should also know the latest bylaws.
• Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.
• Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and architectural judgment in developing architectural solutions.
• Create blueprints and make alternations based on feedback from the client.
• Experience with several housing types, building typologies, and vocabularies
• Knowledge of major code issues and construction types

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, design, or similar
• Masters Degree in architecture or design might be preferable.
• 2 – 8 years of experience in architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in multi-family and mixed-use design
• A good portfolio and several years of work experience as an Architect.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Brilliant interpersonal and networking skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly analytical.
• In-depth understanding of CAD and AutoCAD software.
