Job Description

Job Purpose:

Manage the end-to-end HR and Admin support for the Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) business to ensure smooth business operations and achievement of business goals within the Apraava policy framework and guidelines.


Role & responsibilities


Talent acquisition

  • Support the Head HR & Admin (RE) to coordinate with the Head - AMI Business to understand and collate the annual workforce requirement for the AMI business.
  • Accountable for the talent acquisition process in line with manpower requirement and approved budget in coordination with the HO team.
  • Manage the campus recruitment process in coordination with the HO team.
  • Schedule and present the hiring dashboard in review meetings to the business and HR seniors.

Onboarding of new joiners


  • Responsible for the smooth onboarding of the employees joining the AMI business. This includes but not limited to joining announcements, planning the induction, onboarding the new joinee, completing the joining formalities, administering the policy inductions and ensuring s/he attends the VoV training.
  • Ensure initiation and closure of background verification with utmost attention and as per the timelines.
  • Ensure that the new joiners have a positive experience of the organisation and its culture by way of continuous feedback, catch-ups, and regular communication.

Employee lifecycle activities


  • Manage all employee lifecycle transactions such as Confirmation, Transfers, Promotion, role-changes, issuance & monitoring of Credit cards etc.
  • Manage the employee exit process conducting exit interviews, coordinating with them for timely completion of all exit formalities and ensuring timely completion of F&F settlement and documentation.
  • Drive the PMS process for the AMI business by ensuring completion of KRA setting and half yearly / year-end review in adherence to timelines as per the PMS calendar.

Payroll administration


  • Ensure timely & accurate uploading of the payroll inputs in coordination with the HO team  Leave administration, attendance, shift roster, comp offs, etc.
  • Coordinate NPS sessions and play the role of SPOC for all NPS members.

Learning & Development


  • Identify employee training needs in discussions with the line function; incorporate the same in the training plan & calendar in coordination with the L&D Lead.
  • Oversee delivery of training programs, employee participation and evaluate effectiveness through inputs from supervisors and questionnaires.

Employee engagement initiatives


  • Conceptualization, planning and execution of engagement activities.  Design the annual engagement calendar.
  • Oversee the administration of the Employee Engagement Survey to employees, resolve queries and drive completion as per deadlines and implementation of follow up action plan.
  • Ensure effective implementation of R&R framework. Familiarize stakeholders with the R&R framework and facilitate the same.
  • REW site visits as per the plan.

Health & Wellbeing


  • Deploy Health and Well-being Initiatives (execution and communication). Give inputs to H&W calendar, conducting H&W sessions, deployment of EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
  • Oversee annual medical check-ups and ensuring a 100% completion of eligible medical checks. Facilitate the Mediclaim policies administration and ensure all support in closing claims and handling escalations with the Insurance Brokers. Provide monthly additions, deletion of data for insurance with appropriate pay details and ensure the CD balance maintained.

MIS reporting & analytics


  • Ensure timely and accurate updating of all employee data in the HRMS.
  • Monthly MIS - Qualitative Inputs, R&R, Compliance Tracker, Manpower Numbers, Org Chart.
  • Attrition analysis report.
  • Recruitment analysis report.
  • Weekly IEX updates.
  • Any other reports required from time to time.

Administration & Statutory Compliances


  • Manage the overall office facility management.
  • Security & catering management.
  • Office stationery, courier and travel management.
  • Statutory compliance at office & locations.

Third party hiring


  • Hiring, payroll inputs and invoice processing for 3rd party resources in AMI.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum education qualification: Graduation with an MBA in HR.
  • Understanding of HR Operations in an organization.
  • Knowledge of Oracle HRMS.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Problem solving.
  • Decision making abilities.
