Quality Assurance Engineer - Espresso Framework (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Espresso framework.

- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and identify testing scenarios.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and release.

- Identify, investigate, and document bugs and defects.

- Work with the development team to resolve issues and improve product quality.

- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks and infrastructure.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years of experience in mobile app testing.

- Strong experience with Espresso framework for Android automation testing.

- Experience with Java or Kotlin.

- Experience with Android Studio and other Android development tools.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Passion for quality and a strong attention to detail.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with other mobile testing frameworks (Appium, XCTest).

- Experience with performance and security testing.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail).

- Contributions to open-source projects.
