Appzlogic Mobility - UFT Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing (5-6 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Microfocus UFT. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Automation :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Microfocus UFT.

- Create and maintain robust and reusable automation frameworks.

- Develop and execute test cases to verify functionality, performance, and security.

- Identify and report defects and track them to resolution.

- Analyze test results and generate detailed reports.

Test Planning and Strategy :

- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies.

- Estimate testing effort and create detailed test plans.

- Identify and prioritize test cases to ensure maximum test coverage.

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Microfocus UFT/QTP.

- Proficiency in VB Scripting and other scripting languages.

- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Experience with test management tools like HP ALM or JIRA.

- Understanding of defect tracking and management processes.

Qualifications and Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.

- In-depth knowledge of Microfocus UFT/QTP and its features.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of 1 a team
