General position overview :

This position will be responsible for Automation testing

We are looking for an innovative and experienced QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Automation using Cypress tool who is ready for an ambitious project .We look at you as someone who is an avid learner and tech enthusiast.

Responsibilities :

- Automation Framework Design and Implementation using Cypress and Java Script.

- Analysis of functional and non-functional use cases, and identification of automation candidates.

- Design, develop and maintain automated scripts, across multiple projects.

- Creation of clear, meaningful Test Result Reports.

- Coordination of Test and Development team members to prioritize & resolve issues quickly and effectively.

- Being highly delivery focused and engaging effectively with all team members to drive projects forwards. Mentor and guide junior automation engineers as required.

- Other tasks as reasonably requested.

Essential Skills :

- Experience with automating the entire regression test suite.

- Automation experience using Cypress.

- Strong knowledge of testing theory and understanding of software verification.

- Excellent communicator, capable of engaging at all levels with customers.

- Ability to contribute to the Automation Test Strategy, and Tooling Strategy.

-Create and maintain coding standards for automation, pushing the framework forward and maintaining it over time.

- Development of Automation Tests which can be maintained and extended by the manual test community.

- Automation of non-functional tests, including load and security testing.

- Test Planning and estimation and establishing a technical understanding of the system under test.

- Recording work progress on a weekly basis.

- Designing test cases, scenarios & follow the adopted procedures.

- Executing tests on code using test Harness & publish the Report.

- Analysing test results and reporting to the development team & attend the defect triage.

- Should be familiar with defect life Cycle and should have managed the defects in his working experience.

- Investigating how new requirements and features fit into the automation test suits understand scope and estimate risk.
