Tech Lead - PHP Frameworks (7-9 yrs)

Job Description : Tech Lead (PHP).

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Tech Lead with minimum 7 years of experience to spearhead our product development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PHP, database management (SQL or NoSQL), AWS and proven track record in leading development teams, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and hands-on coding.

This role demands a proactive problem-solver who can collaborate across teams and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of backend and full-stack developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

- Drive architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.

- Guide the team in implementing best coding practices, design patterns, and development methodologies.

Product Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy robust applications using PHP and related technologies.

- Manage and optimize database systems (SQL or NoSQL) to meet performance and scalability requirements.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.

- Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous code reviews and testing.

Collaboration and Coordination :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend, design, and product management, to align technical solutions with business goals.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical queries and project progress updates.

- Facilitate communication between teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Infrastructure Management :

- Leverage AWS services to build, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues proactively.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- PHP Expertise : Extensive hands-on experience with PHP and PHP frameworks (e.g, Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).

- Database Skills : Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.

- AWS Experience : Proficiency with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.

- CI/CD Pipelines : Practical experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Circle CI.

- Team Leadership : Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, preferably in an agile environment.

- Hands-on Coding : Strong development and debugging skills with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

- Familiarity with other backend technologies like Nodejs, Python, or Java.

- Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
