Cssd Technician

a. Sterilizing :

* Receive unsterile items from various departments.

* Decontaminate and wash the equipment.

* Pack items for sterilization.

* Store the sterile items.

* Dispatch the sterile equipment to the respective departments.

* Perform weekly fumigation of sterile room, decontamination room and clean zone.

* Scrub and wash sterilization machine regularly.

* Regular cleaning of equipment and department.

b. Monitoring :

* Carry out inspection of all equipments/instruments of the department so that they are kept in the state of readiness at all times.

* Carry out work as per the schedule by maintaining stringent quality requirements.

* Carry out all norms in connection with maintaining hygiene and sterility at all times.

* Monitor the sterilization process.

c. Others :

* Adhere to timely delivery of instruments and linen to the concerned department.

* Maintain log book for receipt and issue of the material in the department.

* Carry out preventive maintenance schedule of all the machines and register the same in the log book.
