Senior Sap Abap Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and implement ABAP solutions based on business requirements. • Work closely with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Develop and maintain Data Dictionary objects, including tables, views, and data elements. • Develop RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects. • Perform Module Pool Programming for custom applications. • Implement custom enhancements using various techniques. • Utilize Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS ABAP) concepts for robust and scalable development. • Develop interactive forms using Adobe Forms. • Design and implement interfaces with other systems. • Develop and consume OData services. • Create and maintain Core Data Services (CDS) views. • Work with SAP Workflow to automate business processes. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. • Provide technical support to end-users. • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP ABAP technologies and trends.

Required Skills:

• 5-12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. • Strong understanding of Data Dictionary concepts. • Extensive experience in RICEF development. • Proficiency in Module Pool Programming. • Hands-on experience with Custom Enhancements. • Solid understanding of OOPS ABAP. • Experience with Adobe Forms development. • Expertise in designing and implementing Interfaces. • Knowledge of OData services and CDS Views. • Experience with SAP Workflow. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1

Good to Have:

• At least one end-to-end SAP implementation experience. • Experience in [mention specific industry experience if relevant, e.g., manufacturing, finance, etc.]. • Knowledge of other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI). • Familiarity with SAP Fiori. • Experience with SAP Cloud Platform.
