Finance Control Manager

Financial Reporting

• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial reporting.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and reporting requirements.

Audit and Assurance

• Lead and execute both internal and external audits across all group entities.
• Ensure compliance with audit standards and procedures, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
• Address audit findings by implementing recommendations for process improvements and mitigating financial risks effectively.

Taxation

• Prepare, review, and file tax returns, including GST and TDS, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
• Provide expert tax planning and advisory services, optimizing the organizations tax obligations.
• Ensure timely resolution of tax-related matters, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Assist in the development of monthly budgets and periodic forecasts, providing financial analysis to support accurate projections.
• Develop, monitor, and manage budgets while analyzing performance against financial goals.
• Provide strategic financial forecasting and analysis to inform management decisions and evaluate budget performance.

Financial Management

• Oversee all financial operations and strategies to ensure robust cash flow and sound investment planning.
• Take ownership of accounting processes, ensuring adherence to SOPs across multiple entity types (Pvt Ltd, LLP, Proprietorship, HUF).
• Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and procedures, driving operational efficiency and compliance.

Compliance and Governance

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and corporate governance standards, maintaining a strong ethical framework.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure operational integrity.
• Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met within specified deadlines.

Advisory and Consultancy

• Provide strategic financial advice to management, offering insights that align with organizational objectives.
• Support key decision-making processes through detailed financial insights and actionable recommendations.
• Provide advisory on mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.

Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks by developing and implementing risk management strategies.
• Monitor and report on risk exposures, ensuring proactive measures to safeguard the organization's financial health.

Inventory Management

• Oversee stock movement, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory levels to optimize costs and reduce discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements for inventory.
• Prepare inventory performance reports for financial analysis.

Stock Accounting

• Maintain robust stock accounting processes, including inward and outward stock management.
• Conduct daily physical inventory audits and ensure accurate record-keeping for inventory movement.
• Handle all documentation related to stock arrivals and dispatches, ensuring seamless inventory operations.

Import Processes

• Demonstrate expertise in import transactions and vendor ledger management, ensuring smooth import operations.
• Oversee reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts and accrued liabilities related to imports.

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and provide analysis for management decision-making.
• Ensure the accounting team operates efficiently, adhering to established SOPs and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferably CA, MBA, or equivalent).
• Typically, 4-8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
• Proficiency in Tally accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
