Job Description
Senior Associate Software Developer will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality solutions to the higher education community. This role requires collaboration, analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance to ensure the best possible outcomes for our products .
Primary responsibilities will include:
- A nalyz ing business requirements, discuss ing impacted areas, suggest ing solutions, and provid ing multiple alternatives to resolve issues/areas of concern
- C od ing and perform ing unit testing of enhancements in the Product Suite
- S tabilization and maintenance of the Product Suite, analyzing root causes of issues, and suggesting areas for improvement
- A ctively participate in SCRUM ceremonies, providing constructive suggestions and input
- D evelop ing testable, reusable, efficient, and legible code for enhancements in the Product Suite
Required skills/qualifications:
- BE/BTech/MCA degree or above in computer science/ IT or equivalent functional experience
- 1-2 years of experience in commercial software Development in a SaaS-based company
- Strong technical background on Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET) with experience in web-based application development
- H ands-on experience in.NET/.NET Core, MVC, Web API, WC
- Experience in jQuery, React or equivalent UI Frameworks
- Understanding of RDBMS
- Experience with Dynamics 365: Solutions Building, Layering and Publishers, Schema, Workflow, Business Rules, and Plugins
- Experience with Flow/Power Automate with connectors
- Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Power Apps experience
- Experience i ntegrating with third-party ISVs
- Good a nalytical and p roblem- s olving skills
- Debugging and t roubleshooting s kills
- Proven experience in software development and a solid understanding of programming concepts
- Ability to analyze business requirements and provide viable technical solutions and discuss impacted areas
- Ability to s uggest solutions and multiple alternatives to resolve issues and areas of concern
- Strong coding skills, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Experience with unit testing and debugging
- Familiarity with SCRUM or other Agile methodologies
- Ability to p articipate in SCRUM ceremonies, providing constructive suggestions and input
- A bility to a ctively contribute to team commitments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work we'll in a team environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Experience in working on Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 on customization
