Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC, VMC, CMM, and grinding machines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in machinery.
• Monitor machine performance and implement improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance effectively.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and order components as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance, particularly with CNC, VMC, CMM, and grinding machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of machine operations and maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance management software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and management.

Roles and Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on CNC, VMC, CMM, and grinding machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments as necessary to keep machines in working condition.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in machinery, including troubleshooting software and hardware problems.
• Execute repairs in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime, using appropriate tools and techniques.

Performance Monitoring:

• Monitor machine performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends or recurring issues.
• Implement improvements and modifications to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and performance metrics for each machine.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance activities, costs, and equipment status to management.

Educational Background:

• Bachelors or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• 13 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or maintenance engineering, preferably with CNC, VMC, and grinding machines.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and machine installation.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CMMS tools.

Industry Knowledge:

• Understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and machining operations.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards like ISO 9001.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Required Skill Set for Maintenance/Mechanical Engineer:

1. Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshooting and maintaining CNC, VMC, and grinding machines.
2. Preventive Maintenance: Scheduling and executing plans to reduce downtime.
3. Technical Tools: Proficiency in CAD/CAM and CMMS software.
4. Mechanical Systems: Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication.
5. Compliance & Safety: Adhering to ISO standards and conducting safety audits.
6. Reporting & Analysis: Analyzing equipment performance and preparing detailed reports.

Preferred Candidate Location:

• Candidates residing within a 15 km radius of the company location at Chikhali Patil Nagar will be given preference.

Relocation Option:

• Candidates from outside the specified radius are welcome to apply, provided they are willing to relocate closer to the company location. Support for relocation can be discussed if needed.
