Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a passion for problem-solving. This role involves field visits to various industries, inspection of mechanical systems, and designing custom coupling and pulley solutions.

Visit industrial sites to inspect couplings and pulleys installed in machinery.
Measure and assess components using appropriate mechanical tools.
Diagnose mechanical issues such as premature failures, wear and tear, and low efficiency, and identify root causes.
Create detailed design solutions for custom couplings and pulleys to solve customer issues, including rough sketches and 2D models using CAD and SolidWorks.
Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations based on inspection findings.
Collaborate with the AniGears manufacturing team to ensure accurate production of designed components.
Offer expert advice to customers on enhancing system efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of industrial couplings, pulleys, and related mechanical systems.
Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks for 2D modeling.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze root causes of mechanical failures.
Hands-on experience with measuring and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Effective communication and reporting skills.
A self-motivated and flexible approach to work.
