Role & responsibilities

: Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and examinations of patients to diagnose illnesses and determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide primary and specialized care to General surgery patients with various medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses.
• Monitor and manage patients admitted to the hospital, overseeing their treatment progress and responding to any medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases, treatment options, and further management plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and therapies as per established protocols and guidelines.
• Educate patients' families about medical conditions, treatment procedures, and preventive measures to ensure proper patient care at home.
• Lead and supervise junior medical staff, providing guidance and support in their clinical activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with medical and legal standards of documentation.
• Adhere to all patient safety protocols, infection control measures, and hospital policies.
