Tech Lead (Dot Net) - Amla Commerce

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead to join our development team. In

this role, you will take ownership of the technical aspects of our projects, lead a team of

developers, and collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement high-quality software

solutions. You will be responsible for driving the architectural decisions, ensuring adherence to

best practices, and mentoring team members to help them grow in their careers.

Job Location: Nagpur, Pune and Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex software systems using .NET technologies (ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, etc.).
• Own and drive the architectural design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.
• Manage the technical delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and client requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define technical requirements and solution designs.
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers, promoting best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, clean code.
• Help optimize the performance of applications and troubleshoot complex issues in both development and production environments.
• Establish and enforce development processes, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent quality across the team.
• Collaborate with other teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of software.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and tools to improve development processes.
• Manage technical risk and ensure that projects are delivered on time and with the required quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a lead role.
• Strong experience with .NET technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, Web API, etc.).
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Expertise in SQL Server and database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in web services (RESTful, SOAP), APIs, JSON, XML, and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience mentoring and leading a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work with ambiguity, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance optimization, monitoring tools, and scalability solutions.
• Experience in ecommerce, fintech, or healthcare domains.
• Understanding of security best practices in software development.
