What you will do

In this vital role you will play a key role in supporting and developing automation tools that optimize end-user experiences and improve operational efficiencies. Working closely with a team of engineers, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of solutions that reduce manual processes, enhance security, and enable self-service across the DWX ecosystem. Roles & Responsibilities:

Maintain Existing Code:Support and maintain .NET, C#, and Python applications hosted in Azure and AWS, ensuring they remain efficient, secure, and updated to meet business requirements.

Development & Deployment:Develop, test, and deploy code based on designs created with the guidance of senior engineers. Implement solutions following best practices for code structure and efficiency.

Documentation:Generate clear and concise code documentation for new and existing features to ensure smooth handovers and easy future reference.

Collaborative Design:Work closely with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into functional technical designs.

Code Reviews & Quality Assurance:Participate in peer code reviews, providing feedback on adherence to best practices, and ensuring high code quality and maintainability.

Testing & Debugging:Assist in writing unit and integration tests to validate new features and functionalities. Support troubleshooting and debugging efforts for existing systems to resolve bugs and performance issues.

Security Compliance:Ensure that all code follows established security protocols, including encryption and secure data handling practices, under the guidance of senior team members.

Continuous Learning:Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices, with a focus on expanding knowledge in cloud services, automation, and secure software development.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree with a 1 - 3 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR

Bachelor’s degree with 3 - 5 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR

Diploma with 7-9 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field

Must-Have Skills:

Proficiency in JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, .NET, and Power Platform.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and hands-on experience working with them.

Strong foundational knowledge of testing methodologies, including unit testing and integration testing.

Basic understanding of data security practices, such as encryption and secure data transfer.

Ability to contribute to building scalable systems under the guidance of more senior engineers.

Experience using version control tools such as Git.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Working knowledge of Python

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Be willing and able to learn new technologies at a rapid pace

Understanding of desktop systems lifecycle and management

Authentication Protocols:Knowledge of OAuth, SAML

Soft Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

High degree of initiative and self-motivation

Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
