Senior Manager - Data Platform Engineering

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR
• Masters degree in computer science or engineering field and 8 to 10 years of relevant experience OR
• Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering field and 10 to 14 years of relevant experience OR
• Diploma and 14 to 18 years of computer science and engineering preferred, other Engineering field experience will be considered
• 5+ years of experience leading a team of data engineers.
• 5+ years of experience in leading enterprise scale data and analytics solutions development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data engineering solutions. Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and cost optimization strategies.Experience using Databricks, Snowflake, Python, PowerBI, Tableau.
• Proven ability to lead and develop hard-working data platform engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills to address sophisticated data challenges.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Databricks.
• Experience working with platform and shared service models.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies such as Scaled Agile.
• Experienced with software engineering best-practices, including but not limited to version control (Git, Subversion, etc.), CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven etc.), automated unit testing, and Dev Ops.

Professional Certifications:

• SAFe for Teams certification (preferred)
