Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Lead to drive data-driven decision-making, optimize business processes, and enhance our analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in data analytics, ETL, data visualization, and predictive modeling. This role requires hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, Tableau/Metabase, and cloud-based data solutions (AWS/Redshift).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Strategy & Management
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and analytics frameworks.
- Oversee the ETL process to ensure high-quality and structured data pipelines.
- Manage and optimize databases and data warehouses for performance and efficiency.
2. Data Analysis & Insights
- Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and business opportunities.
- Build predictive models and statistical analyses to support decision-making.
- Develop automated dashboards and reports to monitor key performance metrics.
3. Business Impact & Decision Support
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Finance) to provide actionable insights.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify growth opportunities and optimize business performance.
- Translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
4. Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Lead a team of analysts (if applicable) and mentor junior team members.
- Present insights, reports, and business recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, data technologies, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6-7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ETL frameworks and cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift is a plus).
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Metabase, or Power BI.
- Experience in statistical modeling, trend analysis, and predictive analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in leading analytics projects or mentoring junior analysts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
- Exposure to machine learning models and forecasting techniques.
- Understanding of business KPIs and financial metrics.
