Verification Lead-QA

Key Responsibilities:

1. 4G Core Network Testing:

• Plan, design, and execute test cases for 4G Core Network components, including PCEF, MME, SGW, PGW, HSS, and PCRF.
• Validate end-to-end functionality, including call flows and mobility procedures such as Attach, Detach, and Handover.

2. Protocol Testing:

• Test and troubleshoot network protocols with a focus on Diameter (e.g., Cx, S6a, S13, Rx, and Gx interfaces).
• Validate other protocols like GTP, SCTP, and S1AP involved in 4G procedures.

3. Test Automation:

• Develop automated test scripts to streamline regression and functional testing.
• Utilize tools like Wireshark, Spirent, IXIA, or similar platforms to simulate and analyze test scenarios.

4. Performance and Load Testing:

• Conduct performance benchmarking for 4G CN components, ensuring they meet latency and throughput requirements.
• Perform scalability testing to assess system reliability under varying traffic loads.

5. Defect Analysis and Troubleshooting:

• Identify, document, and analyze defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
• Use debugging tools and logs to trace and resolve network and protocol-related issues.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Create detailed test plans, test case documentation, and comprehensive reports on test results.
• Provide insights and recommendations for system optimization based on testing outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Hands-on experience in testing 4G Core Network components (EPC: MME, SGW, PGW, HSS).
• Strong understanding and practical experience with the Diameter protocol and its interfaces (e.g., S6a, Gx).
• Familiarity with 5G procedures such as Attach, Authentication, Paging, and Bearer Management.
• Experience with protocol testing tools like Wireshark, Spirent, or similar tools.
• Testing Expertise:
• Experience in functional, regression, performance, and load testing of telecom systems.
• Ability to write test scripts and perform test automation using tools like Robot Framework or similar.
• Educational Background:
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
