Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, particularly in API, back-end, and manual testing, with a focus on ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development lifecycle by designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain test cases for web and mobile applications.

- Conduct thorough API and back-end testing to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.

- Execute manual testing processes to ensure the reliability, stability, and compatibility of software applications.

- Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution.

- Participate in the design and implementation of testing frameworks.

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA.

- Should be working independently and take ownership of the work.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.

- Hands-on experience with manual testing tools and methodologies.

- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Minimum 3-6 years of experience.
