*Job Summary:*

The AWS Cloud Senior Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. This role involves working closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business requirements and follow best practices.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Design and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS, including computing, networking, storage, and security.

- Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation

- Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.

- Perform infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.

- Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

- *Monitoring and Optimization:*

- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost.

- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar tools.

- Optimize cloud resources and ensure cost-efficiency.

- *Security and Compliance:*

- Implement and manage security controls, identity, and access management policies.

- Ensure cloud solutions comply with security policies and industry standards.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

*Qualifications:*

- *Education and Experience:*

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 4 years on AWS.

- *Technical Skills:*

- Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, and more.

- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.

- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).

- *Soft Skills:*

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*Certifications:* (Nice to have atleast one)

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (preferred)

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred)

- Any other relevant AWS certifications are a plus.
