Alteryx is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join the Connectivity org . The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Python and Java based stacks , a strong understanding of the data domain specifically in integration and connectivity and an ability to work across teams to achieve technical alignment. If youre a self-driven individual who thrives in solving complex problems and enjoys working on innovative data solutions, we d love to hear from you.

Must-Have Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with a strong track record of technical leadership.

At least 4 years of hands-on experience in the data domain, focusing on integration and connectivity solutions.

Proficiency in Python and Java based stacks , with expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable applications.

Deep understanding of software architecture and design principles.

Proven experience with APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems.

Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.

Strong ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve technical alignment on critical initiatives.

Self-driven and proactive in identifying opportunities and delivering results.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and documentation.

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot (Java) or Flask/Django (Python).

Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data lake/warehouse architectures.

Familiarity with connectivity protocols and data exchange standards (e.g., JDBC,

Prior experience mentoring junior engineers and driving technical decision-making within a team.

Relevant certifications in cloud, data engineering, or related fields are a plus.

Experience in building customer-facing SDKs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize scalable software solutions with a focus on data integration and connectivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on architecture and technical strategies.

Take ownership of critical projects and ensure timely delivery with high-quality standards.
