Job Summary:

The FP&A professional is responsible for performing in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and providing recommendations to senior leadership. The FP&A function supports the companys financial goals and ensures alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Lead the preparation of the companys annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure that budget allocations align with business strategies.
• Create rolling forecasts to predict financial performance based on current trends and assumptions.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and variances from the budget.
• Perform variance analysis, comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze financial performance at both the consolidated and departmental levels.
3. Strategic Financial Support:
• Provide actionable financial insights to business units and senior management to improve financial performance and drive business decisions.
• Participate in long-term strategic planning and capital budgeting processes.
• Support financial modeling for potential business opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions.
4. Cash Flow Management:
• Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management to ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.
• Provide recommendations for improving cash flow based on financial analysis.
5. Financial Systems & Processes:
• Work with the finance team to ensure accurate data entry into financial systems.
• Contribute to the improvement and automation of financial reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices for financial planning and analysis.
6. Stakeholder Communication:
• Present financial reports and analysis to key stakeholders, including senior management, business unit leaders, and external auditors.
• Provide explanations and insights into financial results, highlighting key drivers of performance.
7. Ad-hoc Financial Analysis:
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis for special projects, new business initiatives, or specific business challenges.
• Provide support to leadership in making informed decisions on investments, cost-saving measures, and resource allocation.
8. Fund Raising/IPO:

• Working experience of fund raising/IPO will be added advantage.

• Qualification and Experience:
• CA with 5-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or related financial roles.
• Experience with financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
