Job Title: Senior ABS Developer

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in ABS Airwave, Business Logic + Adapter development.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ready to take leadership / mentoring role in the team

TECH-STACK

Applicants should have proficiency in most of the following technologies. While expertise in all of them is not mandatory, a combination of skills across the stack is desirable.

• Java : Expertise in Java programming, including a solid understanding of core concepts and best practices.
• ABS Classic / lean Core : Airwave, Business Logic, ABS Adapter
• Spring Boot : In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot framework for building scalable and efficient applications.
• Database : Familiarity with both SQL (e. g. , MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e. g. , MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Persistence Frameworks : Experience with Hibernate or Java Persistence API (JPA) for managing object-relational mapping (ORM).
• Bonus: Message Brokers : Exposure to event-driven architectures using Kafka and/or RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication.
• Testing Frameworks : Experience with testing frameworks such as Junit and spring boot testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.
• Build Tools : Experience with either Maven or Gradle for building, packaging, and dependency management.
• Containerization: Practical knowledge of Docker for containerization to ensure consistent deployment across various environments.
• Version Control : Proficiency with Git, along with practical experience using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
• Cloud Services (AWS): Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Kubernetes: Basic understanding of Kubernetes orchestration for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) : Comfortable working with Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or Visual Studio Code.

EXPERIENCE and SOFT SKILLS:

• ABS Classic Java Development, Airwave, Adapter
• Bonus: Event-Driven Microservices : Experience designing, building, and maintaining event-driven microservices architectures.
• Testing : Proficiency in testing frameworks like JUnit and integration testing for microservices.
• Problem-Solving : Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
• Collaboration : A team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Adaptability : Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks quickly.
