The successful candidate will be responsible for developing GUI and microcontroller/Arduino/Rasberry PI interface for evaluating Allegro s dc-dc converters, LED driver, motor driver and Hall based sensors applications. The candidate will work to develop hardware, PC based and microcontroller software to evaluate ICs. The candidate will work with industry leading consumer and automotive products customers and a well-experienced design team to evaluate and support next generation ICs. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced IC development environment and combination of analytical and hands-on real life problem solving challenges (software development and evaluation, demo board and collateral development, critical customer support).
COMPLEXITY: Excellent understanding of embedded systems, communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB interface with FTDI, analog and digital electronic design. Candidate should be familiar with using Digital oscilloscope, data analyzers, emulator and debuggers for debugging. This job will involve travel in India.
TEAMWORK: Will be part of a product development team that may include other design engineers, product / test engineers, and marketing / applications engineers and will perform software development related tasks. Will be expected to be a contributor to the entire embedded development process including schematic entry, PCB layout.
COMMUNICATION: Will interact on routine issues with other engineers, design and marketing teams using verbal and written skills.
TOOLS: Microchip MPLAB, VB.net, C, Pyton, Arduino, Will be required to use a variety of CAD tools including PCB schematic and layout tools, Microcontroller programming,
EDUCATION: BE/B.Tech (EE) from reputed institutes with specific courses targeted at microcontroller, High level language, digital and analog circuits.
EXPERIENCE: 1-5 years of experience as embedded designer in related area.
