Industrial Designer

Role & responsibilities

• The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience in designing innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing products. He/she will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring homeware product concepts to life and improve existing product designs to enhance user experience, marketability, and manufacturability.

• Develop creative product concepts and design solutions based on market research, client requirements and brand direction.

• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-efficiency, and alignment with technical requirements.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate on designs and optimize the user experience.

• Direct Colour/ Material / Finish for the designed products

Preferred candidate profile

Curiosity, attention to details/good observation skills & clear communication skills, think user centred design, problem solving approach

Should be able to communicate their ideas through sketches or quick 3D modelling

Strong understanding of design principles, ergonomics and materials.

Proficient Experience in 3D modelling in Solid works and rendering in Key shot.

Knowing 3DS max is a bonus
