Job Description

Conduct security assessments of web and mobile applications throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including threat modeling, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and code reviews.

Implement and maintain secure coding practices for Dart, Flutter, and Golang code, promoting secure architecture and design principles.

Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to web, mobile, and cloud platforms, including AI/ML specific attack vectors.

Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and product team leaders to integrate security considerations into all phases of the development process.

Manage and monitor security incidents, responding promptly and effectively to mitigate potential risks.

Research and evaluate new security tools and technologies, recommending their adoption and integration into our security framework.

Communicate security risks and recommendations effectively to team members.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Must have a definite call of God to this kind of ministry role, with a strong passion for God s Word and depth in the Spirit.

Must be passionate about local church ministry, discipling, equipping and empowering people for Kingdom purposes.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of experience in application security, ideally with experience in web and mobile security.

Strong understanding of secure coding practices in Dart, Flutter, and Golang.

Expertise in common web and mobile application vulnerabilities and attack vectors.

Experience with security assessment tools like scanners, penetration testing platforms, and code analysis tools.

Familiarity with cloud security concepts and experience with platforms like GCP or AWS is a plus.

Understanding of AI/ML security threats and mitigation strategies is desirable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preference will be given to those who have been actively involved in serving at APC, Bangalore.
