Application Engineer III

Job Responsibilities: 

 Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to customers regarding the application and performance of Alkegen’s products. Address customer inquiries and resolve technical issues effectively. 

• Product Development: Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to assist in the development and optimization of new products based on customer feedback and market needs. 
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, conducting presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and applications of Alkegen’s materials. 
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and customer requirements to identify opportunities for product improvement and new applications. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on product capabilities and market positioning. Provide technical insights to support sales strategies. 
• Training and Education: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for customers and internal teams to enhance understanding of product applications and technical specifications. 
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, specifications, and case studies to support customer engagement and product development. 

Qualifications/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. 
• Experience in Refractories & Insulation is required.
• Experience in working 2D/3D design & drafting software will be preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in application engineering or a related technical field, preferably within the advanced materials or manufacturing industries. The sales knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of materials properties and engineering principles related to product applications. 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset. 
• Proficient in technical documentation and software tools relevant to engineering and project management.
