Glenmark Life Sciences - Assistant Manager - Indirect Taxation (3-5 yrs)

Job Description for Indirect Tax Profile:

- Preparation of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C and getting it reviewed for team leader.

- Ensuring monthly tax payments of various Indirect Taxes and accounting of same in the system.

- Preparation of various reconciliations of Books of Accounts and GST returns.

- Closely working with Finance operation department and commercial department for follow up with supplier for uploading invoices in GST portal and claiming input tax credit as per GSTR-2B.

- Preparing and filing of GST refunds applications and liasing with GST department for issuance of refunds.

- Monitor and reconcile of inter branch and inter-company transfer.

- Scrutiny of GL accounts to identifying Input tax credit loss and excess liability payment etc.

- Preparation and submission of reply to the show cause notices/scrutiny notices/letters issued by the GST authorities.

- Keeping a track of latest amendments in Indirect Tax Laws and assessing impact of the same on the companys business.

- Apprising entire organisation about GST changes.

- Support the automation of various compliances and reports required for GST returns filing and GST reconciliations.

- Maintain proper records, coordinate with various department, and ensure all the assessment and appeals are closed within the due timelines.

- Preparation of various Tax MIS on monthly basis.

- Identifying the leakage in Indirect Tax Outflow.

- Adequate knowledge of SAP systems.

- Advance knowledge of MS excel.
