Role & responsibilities

Shopify Developer Responsibilities:

1. Custom Theme Development & CustomizatioN

• Design, build, and maintain custom Shopify themes, ensuring alignment with the brand's aesthetics and user experience (UX) needs.
• Customize Shopify themes to fit the unique features of our jewellery products (e.g., product variations, detailed images, custom filters).

App Integration & API Development:

• Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps to enhance site functionality (e.g., CRM, email marketing, inventory management).
• Work with Shopify APIs to create custom solutions, such as custom product pages or checkout experiences.

• E-commerce Optimization:
  
• Ensure the online store is optimized for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness to improve conversion rates.
• Implement best practices for e-commerce, including product categorization, upselling, and user-friendly navigation tailored for jewellery shoppers.

• Store Management & Maintenance:
  
• Monitor the store for any bugs, technical issues, and perform regular updates to themes, apps, and plugins.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any Shopify-related issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Security & Performance:
  
• Ensure the websites security and compliance with e-commerce standards.
• Optimize the website's performance for faster load times, especially for high-resolution jewellery images.
