Process Safety Engineer

* What will you be doing?

Responsibilities:

• Ensure documents are checked in line with Company Project and Quality requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• To raise man-hour variation for additions to the original scope of work.
• Support Supervisor/ HOD in proposal / manhour estimates.
• To participate in HSE reviews/audits on the project.

* We think you should have:

Qualification:

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering in (Chemical / Petro-Chemical/ Mechanical/ Fire & Safety/ Petroleum)

Requirements:

• 10 to 15 years of experience in Design HSE / Process Safety / Technical Safety / Loss Prevention and related functions in Oil and Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and Chemical Projects.
• Knowledge in offshore/ onshore engineering. Adequate experience in Concept, FEED and EPC projects
• Min. 8 years of experience in reputed engineering consultancies/ EPC.
• A minimum of 3 years Offshore Oil & Gas / Process platform / FPSO experience shall be an added advantage.
• Should have design expertise in areas such as Hazardous Area Classification, Escape Route, Dispersion analysis, Firewater P&IDs, Active and Passive Fire Protection, Fire & Gas detection and Quantitative Risk Analysis.
• Should have experience in Vendor Document Reviews of Fire and Safety Equipments, Deluge and Foam Systems, Clean Agent Systems
• Must have sufficient exposure to process safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and ENVID.
• Must be capable of providing technical safety related advice and guidance.
• Must have sufficient exposure to Indian and International Codes and Standards.
• Must have excellent communication and leadership skills and must be able to manage multiple projects.
• Hands on experience in pipenet software- Steady state, Transient modules
• Hands on experience in Naviswork freedom software for review and provide comments on Firefighting systems to Departments on timely manner
