Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement of Materials:
   
• Source and procure raw materials, equipment, and spare parts required for coal handling operations.
• Identify and evaluate vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
2. Vendor Management:
   
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate vendor performance and resolve disputes effectively.
3. Inventory Control:
   
• Coordinate with the inventory team to maintain optimum stock levels.
• Ensure timely replenishment of critical materials to avoid operational delays.
4. Compliance and Documentation:
   
• Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
5. Market Research:
   
• Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers.
• Stay updated on trends in the coal handling and logistics industry.
6. Cost Management:
   
• Monitor and control procurement expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
• Propose strategies to optimize procurement costs without compromising quality.
7. Coordination with Departments:
