Manager STEEL Fabrication

The Manager of Steel Fabrication will oversee all aspects of steel structure fabrication and production planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with substantial experience in steel fabrication, material calculation, and production efficiency. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure the smooth functioning of the factory and effective coordination across departments to maximize productivity while minimizing costs.

LOCATION - SAMPLA FACTORY NEAR BAHADURGARH HARYANA

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Management:
  
• Develop and implement production plans for steel structures.
• Monitor and control the production process to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Material Calculation & Cost Management:
  
• Calculate material Bill of Quantities (BOQ) accurately.
• Manage material procurement and inventory to ensure availability while minimizing excess.
• Monitor and control production costs to ensure budget compliance.
• Coordination & Team Leadership:
  
• Coordinate with various departments (engineering, quality control, procurement, etc.) to ensure smooth factory operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the fabrication team, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Address and resolve any production issues or conflicts that may arise.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  
• Ensure all fabricated products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and enforce safety and quality procedures in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, material usage, and cost management.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, issues, and improvements to senior management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BTech - Mechanical).
• 8-10 years of experience in steel structure fabrication and production planning.
• Proven ability to calculate material BOQ and manage production costs effectively.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for production planning and material management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced fabrication technologies and methods.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software for production management.
