Job Description
- Accounts Management:
- Maintain and manage the accounts of the trading desk using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or other relevant tools).
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions, including funding, payouts, and trader settlements.
- Reconcile trader accounts, funding accounts, and bank statements on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Funding Operations:
- Oversee and manage funding activities for the trading desk, ensuring timely and accurate allocation of funds to traders.
- Monitor funding limits, margins, and collateral requirements in alignment with risk management policies.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for the trading desk, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Generate trader performance reports and funding utilization reports for management review.
- Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Trading Floor Support:
- Collaborate with traders and the risk management team to resolve any accounting or funding-related issues.
- Provide real-time support for funding requests and account queries from traders.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices in account management and financial reporting.
