Senior Application Developer

Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Flutter developer to design and engineer applications that will run across Android and iOS platforms. We are looking for someone passionate about scalability, performance, reliability and design with the experience and credentials to back up that passion. Someone who can take ownership of applications, solve technical challenges and take pride in their solutions and code.

You will be working with our candid and collaborative team, where your knowledge and advice about application architecture and the newest mobile technologies will be highly appreciated. 

The code you write will need to be cleanly organized and of the highest quality. You will also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience.

Core Skills to check in the resume

• Flutter(Dart Language). If not worked in flutter, then Java/Kotlin/swift(ios app language)
• Published industry level app(s) is/are mandatory.
• App Architecture level experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a app developer
• Played role of a senior engineer or team lead where he/she has mentored/reviewed code of junior developers.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop Multi-Platform Applications for Mobile, Web, and Desktop using Flutter/Dart
• Design and develop new features and user interfaces from wireframe models
• Lead in app architecture, design discussions, and code reviews
• Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application
• Debug existing apps components, fix issues and avoid regressions
• Writing clean, readable, and testable code
• Cooperating with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions
• Enthusiasm for learning and opting of new technologies

Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of industrial experience in developing flutter apps
• Good Experience with State Management patterns like Provider, BLoc, Redux
• Expert in writing reusable, scalable and efficient code.
• Extensive knowledge about mobile app development cycle. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s)
• Deep knowledge of Android Application Development
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin
• Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile libraries for networking eg: Retrofit
• Familiarity with the JSON format and Push Notifications.
• Familiarity with tools like Github and JIRA
• Experience of IDE: Android Studio and Xcode
• Experience in iOS Development using Swift is a big plus
• Experience in Android Development using Kotlin is a big plus
• Experience in Data structures and Algorithms
• Understanding of SQLite/sqflite
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
